Radical CPA finds bliss on the water

And is reminded to work hard and play hard because life is short

Four  years ago, in the midst of the pandemic, I left everything in Chicago to find a simpler life. I had sold my firm, joined a startup and lost my mom all at the same time.

The summer of 2020 was an adjustment to a different world as it was for so many folks. After spending the summer #upnorth, I returned home, sold my house, my son graduated from high school, and we moved to southern #doorcounty Full on midwest rural America.

As the debate continues about #wfh (work from home) or back to the office, it’s hard to imagine my life any other way. My husband and I have always wanted to live on Greenbay; we talked about retiring here. And because of the internet we were able to make our dream come true way before retiring.

Big lesson: Work hard; play hard…because life is just too short.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to #wfh and live my life surrounded by beauty. #grateful #icantbelieveitsbeen4years
